Die Drawn wires offer greatly reduced friction between the wire and liner. Drawn wires perform better than any other control cables on the market today. The reduced friction is achieved by micro hammering the surface of the wire to the preferred diameter, this is then inserted into a drawing die and pulled through the draw plate multiple times, further ?flattening? the profile of the wire to achieve a continuously smooth surface.
